Freeport High School has been selected to participate in the New York Jets High School Girls Flag Football League's pilot program this spring. Freeport High School student-athlete Isis Person Jouissance, along with Athletic Director Jonathan Bloom, were present to represent the school district at a recent kick-off event at MetLife Stadium.
Freeport is one of 16 schools across Long Island in the new formed league and one of nine in Nassau County representing Section VIII.
The Nassau and Suffolk Girls Flag Football Champions will play for the Long Island championship in June at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, New Jersey.
