PTA

A strong partnership between families and schools helps students thrive. One of the best ways to become involved in your child's educational experience is by joining our Parent Teacher Association (PTSA). The PTSA plays an important role in supporting students, teachers, and school programs while helping to build a strong sense of community within our school.

By becoming a PTA member, parents and guardians have the opportunity to collaborate with school staff, share ideas, and contribute to activities that enhance the educational experience for all students. Research consistently shows that students benefit when families are actively engaged in their school community, often demonstrating improved attendance, stronger academic performance, and increased confidence.

Sports Booster Club
One of the oldest groups affiliated with Freeport High School is the Sports Booster Club. This association of dedicated men and women helps maintain the high spirit that has always been characteristic of Freeport High School’s interscholastic athletic teams.
Organized to promote good sportsmanship and encourage participation in sports, the Sports Booster Club members coordinate the annual homecoming and fundraising activities, sponsor awards for team participants and give annual scholarships. The club extends a cordial invitation to all who share the objectives of the organization to attend its meetings held at 7 p.m., generally on the second Tuesday of each month, in the Freeport High School faculty cafeteria.
