Mr. Daniel Reardon Appointed as Principal of Caroline G. Atkinson School
Dear Freeport Families,
I am pleased to inform you that last evening at the August 18th Board of Education Meeting, Mr. Daniel Reardon was appointed as the principal of the Caroline G. Atkinson School effective August 23, 2021.
As the Assistant Principal of the Caroline G. Atkinson School, Mr. Reardon has supported our students and staff with his leadership and instructional expertise. Prior to coming to Freeport Schools in August 2019, Mr. Reardon has had a successful career as a Spanish teacher followed by an impressive administrative track record as a Dean of Students, English as a New Language (ENL) Director and Assistant Principal. His commitment and concern for the students, staff and families of the Caroline G. Atkinson School is demonstrated in his professionalism, enthusiasm, and caring. Mr. Reardon has built relationships with the students, staff and families that will continue to provide our children with a caring learning environment and excellent opportunities to learn and grow academically, socially and emotionally to reach their full potential.
We are excited for a successful school year under his committed leadership as the principal of the Caroline G. Atkinson School.
