Bayview celebrates fourth grade moving up ceremony
Bayview Avenue School of Arts and Sciences proudly celebrated their fourth grade students during the annual fourth grade moving up ceremony on June 24.

Families, friends, district administration and teachers gathered in the school’s auditorium as the students proudly processed into the auditorium, marking the start of an important educational milestone.

Principal Kelly Fairclough delivered inspiring opening remarks, acknowledging the hard work and achievements of the students. “You are Bayview stars. You shine. You reflect truth, integrity and hard work,” said Ms. Fairclough. “Remember to always tell the truth, always do your best and always show your kindness.”

Next, the students performed a piece called I Can/Hall of Fame showcasing their talents as the audience members smiled.

Following the performance, teachers presented the students with their certificates of completion, recognizing their dedication and accomplishments throughout the year.

Five students: Alin Blas, Ryan Collado, Ava McBride, Ariana Siguencia and Rony Tavarez then received the perfect attendance award.

Assistant Principal Berg also shared a congratulatory message, encouraging the students as they transition to the next phase of their educational journey.

The memorable event concluded with the students processing out of the auditorium as they sang the song, You-Nique, leaving a lasting impression on all in attendance.
