Message from the Superintendent: Thanksgiving Wishes

November 2022

Dear Freeport Families,

As the air gets colder and crisper and the leaves begin to fall in a cascade of color, it is both a reminder of the change in season and the special time of year that is upon us. Thanksgiving is here once again. Time for family and friends, abundant feasting and, most importantly, a time to reflect with gratitude on our lives. We can be thankful this year that the changes and challenges brought by the pandemic are beginning to fade. While we still practice precautions, our lives have returned to a pattern of normalcy. There is so much we have to appreciate each and every day. Thanksgiving is a truly special celebration with the focus is on appreciation, sharing, kindness, loved ones and caring for those less fortunate. Rather than a once a year event, it should be how we live our lives daily. As Changemakers, we can make all the difference in the lives of those around us as well as ourselves.

Living with an attitude of gratitude is more than a cliché. We get so caught up in the demands and stresses of daily life that we forget to appreciate who and what we have in our lives. It is important for our health and well-being to take the time to relax, find peace within and reflect on the blessings present in our lives.

May we always be thankful for what we have and willing to share with those who are in need. Wishing you all the warm, wonderful memories of time spent with your family and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your dear ones.

Best Regards,

Dr. Kishore Kuncham
