Dodd Middle School's Ladies of Dodd club hosted their annual Spring Tea for Women with the theme "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." The theme was chosen to remind attendees of the importance of enjoying life and enjoying time spent with important women in the girls' lives.
Among the honorees were the women on the Board of Education, Principal Johane Ligondé, and Assistant Principal Petronila Rodriguez. The award of Boss Lady went to Ms. Ligondé and Ms. Rodriguez. The other honorees were Deborah Newton, Christabel Bossman, Katherine Castellanos, Lisa DeBourg, Adetoun Fajolu, Cindy Guandique, Kimberly Labrador, Anna McKenna, Emma Romero, Sherill Spruill, and Ella Louis Thomas Jones.
The Ladies of Dodd are: Francheska Lopez, Jennah Newton, Ana Rodriguez, Kelin Romero, Hernandez, Yarely Gutierrez Rivas, Ella DeBourg, Lordia Bossman, Keila Ordonez, Cora Jones, Delaani McKenna, Alyssa Donnelly, and Funmi Fajolu.
