Appointment of Leo F. Giblyn School Principal
I am pleased to announce Amy Lederer is the next Principal of the Leo F. Giblyn School effective July 1, 2021.
Ms. Lederer is a distinguished educator of Freeport Public Schools, having begun her Freeport career in 2000 as an elementary teacher beginning at Columbus Avenue School and eventually moving to the Leo F. Giblyn School. In 2016, she was appointed Assistant Principal at the Leo F. Giblyn School. Ms. Lederer is a dedicated and passionate instructional leader who is committed to the success of the students and staff of Freeport Schools. Under her strong leadership, Giblyn School will continue to thrive and reach the highest levels of excellence ensuring that every child fulfills their greatest potential.
