Dodd Middle School science teachers Jen Cotrone and Kristen Santamaria have been teaching chemistry and educating students on atoms, molecules, the Periodic Table of Elements, compounds, mixtures and density. For a lesson, students determined if an object will sink or float based on the mathematical computation of the object's density.
