New Visions School students sharpened their thinking skills by participating in a Chess Nuts program.
Chess Nuts taught students not only the history of chess and how to play the game but provided them with an understanding of strategy and patience, and how to utilize the thinking process, rules and gamesmanship.
After weeks of training, students had the opportunity to display their new skills during a Chess Tournament that was attended by their families and received awards for their participation.
