As a testament to his impressive array of accomplishments and remarkably successful career as head coach of the high school varsity football team, Russ Cellan was inducted into the Nassau County High School Athletics Hall of Fame before several of his former players. The event, which was held at Crest Hollow Country Club, is designed to recognize, preserve and promote the heritage of interscholastic sports in Nassau County and honor the contributions and achievements of individuals who uphold these values.
