Bayview Teaches Good Behavior
Posted on 10/30/2017

As part of its ongoing character education and observance of National Red Ribbon Week and Bully Prevention Month, Bayview hosted a variety of activities designed to teach students about the importance of compassionate and upstanding behavior toward others.

In addition to participating in a No Smoking poster contest, students learned about the dangers of tobacco products and smoking through facts that were communicated in the daily morning announcements. Second- and third-grade students also participated in the Safety Rules and Steer Clear of Bullies classroom programs, respectively. The professional performing group, Theatre Three, from Port Jefferson visited the school to present Stand Up! Stand Out! The Bullying Project.
