As part of an ongoing partnership between the district and the Rotary Club of Hicksville, the district received new winter coats as a donation from Rotary Club President Dr. Urmilesh Arya.
The coats, which will benefit community children in need, were delivered to the district in October as a kickoff to the holiday season. The club's generous effort was a follow-up to its donation of 100 backpacks to the district in September. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kishore Kuncham and Dr. Arya were recognized by Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino for their collaboration and outstanding commitment to students and service.
