As part of a 10-year annual tradition, students at the high school hosted foreign exchange students and led them through a variety of fun and educational activities during their stay. The 18 exchange students, visiting from Germany for the seven-day program, had the opportunity to accompany the Freeport students to their classes during the day and to different landmarks during evenings and on the weekend. As members of the host families, the Freeport students learned about the German culture and how to guide their new acquaintances through daily routines in a country new to them.
