The district extends its congratulations to the high school
marching band for participating in the 54th annual Newsday Marching Band
Festival. Since the beginning of this historical tradition, Freeport
Schools have proudly joined to celebrate marching band shows from all
over Long Island.
Under the direction of Mike LaSorsa, Adam Rubin and Color
Guard Coach Jahn Scott, the marching band brought its spirited
performance of an ACDC medley to Mitchell Field. The audience was
entertained by the precise movement of the band, drum line, flags and
dancers, all of whom wowed the crowd with high energy and enthusiasm.
