On Tuesday, May 17, community residents approved the 2016-2017 school budget by a vote of 815 YES to 194 NO.
Proposition #2, the Freeport Memorial Library Budget, was approved 837 YES to 193 NO.
Proposition #3 Authorization of Capital Reserve Fund Projects to Expend $1,500,000 from the Capital Reserve Fund was approved 859 YES to 117 NO.
Both incumbent Board of Education Trustees Michael C. Pomerico and Anthony J. Miller were re-elected to three-year terms beginning July 1, 2016.
Michael C. Pomerico: 730 YES
Anthony J. Miller: 818 YES
