Archer Cracks the Code
Posted on 12/21/2015

As part of a worldwide coding event organized by code.org, all students at Archer Street participated in the Hour of Code.

The event, which was participated in by millions of students in more than 180 countries, supports the district's vision that every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science. Kindergarten through fourth-grade students at Archer completed short coding challenges using iPads, laptops or desktop computers. Media specialist and librarian Debbie Bergen led the organization of the event.
