On May 28, 2014, the Board of Education unanimously approved the recommendation of Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kishore Kuncham to appoint Louis Santo Frontario to the position of assistant superintendent for business, effective July 2, 2014.
"Mr. Frontario possesses a wealth of professional experience and knowledge working with school districts and is a highly respected education financial leader," said Dr. Kuncham.
Currently, Frontario is serving as assistant superintendent of the Oceanside School District, where he has worked since 1998. Prior to Oceanside, he served as business administrator/chief finance officer in the East Rockaway School District from 1992 to 1998 and in the Manhasset School District as director of administrative services from 1986 to 1992.
Frontario holds an M.A. in education administration and organizational behavior from New York University, and an MBA in accounting and finance from St. John's University.
