On June 6th, Archer Street School came alive with singing and dancing as the annual Music & Dance Festival was presented. The highlights of the show included performances by the Archer Street Steppers and Dancers and principal Mrs. Paula Lein's Ballroom Dancers performed a Meringue. There were also performances by the fourth-grade chorus, band, orchestra, and Mariachi Band. The orchestra performed under the direction of Christina Giaquinto, Justin Friedman conducted the band and Mariachi, and Jennifer Skelley directed the chorus. Ms. Karen Lettsome, Ms. Valarie Smith and Mrs. Paula Lein train the Archer Street Steppers and Dancers with the assistance of Mr. John Mazzei, who works with the ballroom dancers.
The festival was a memorable event that was enjoyed by students, parents and teachers.
