Holiday Message from Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kishore Kuncham
Posted on 12/19/2013

With your ongoing support, our school year is off to a strong start and our students are engaged in meaningful learning as we continue to implement the Common Core Learning Standards. We have always taken pride in the rigorous education we provide and our highest priority continues to be the success of all of our students.

This holiday season is a perfect time for families and educators to come together to teach our children about the rich diversity within our community and about the many cultures and traditions celebrated during this time of year. It is a time to embrace our differences and to seek peace both within ourselves and the global community we live in. How our students view the world around them, and their role within it, will play a major role in their future success.

During this very hectic time of year, it is easy to lose sight of what really matters in life. I hope you will find some time for yourself to reflect on what is important to you and to enjoy time with your family and friends.

On behalf of the Board of Education and the central administration, I wish everyone a peaceful, joyous holiday season. As we begin the New Year, may we continue to work together to meet the challenges that surely lie ahead.

Sincerely,

Dr. Kishore Kuncham
Superintendent of Schools
