Giblyn Guests Welcomed at Columbus, Bayview, New Visions and Archer

"Giblyn students have been welcome guests in the other Freeport schools for the past two weeks and have shown remarkable resilience," says Mrs. Muldowney, principal. "They have picked up just where they left off at Giblyn!"

According to Mrs. Muldowney, kindergarten and first graders are always seen with smiles at the early childhood center. "Every morning, each child walks into the building with a smile on their face, ready to learn. What is their favorite part of the day? Exploring the Dome Room."

Being thankful is what it is all about for the second graders at Bayview. They are continuing along and celebrating the holiday with their classmates and teachers, who are especially thankful for being welcomed into the Bayview family with beautiful classrooms, and a faculty willing to share everything from supplies to furniture to ideas for lessons. The students from Giblyn say they are thankful for the "really cool, enormous playground."

At New Visions, third graders have been welcomed with open arms by the entire New Visions community. For the Thanksgiving holiday, Giblyn classes "buddied-up" with another third grade class from New Visions to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.

Fourth graders at Archer continued with class elections, where those who are elected will "take office" upon return to Giblyn. They are also participating in all things Archer - the Green Light Program, Million Minutes and Book-of-the-Month.
