The unmistakable mop of red curly hair prancing and singing her way across the stage at Atkinson Intermediate School could only belong to one of America's most beloved icons, "Little Orphan Annie." The production, based on the 1977 Broadway musical "Annie," dramatizes the adventures and misadventures of one optimistic little girl as seen through her beleaguered 1930s comic strip eyes.
Teachers Karen Wecksler and Kerri Sparacia combined to direct the show through three stellar performances.
