At the invitation of Superintendent Dr. Kishore Kuncham, New York State Regent Roger Tilles visited the Freeport Schools on Thursday, May 26. Regent Tilles visited classes at Freeport High School and also spent time with children in the New Visions Elementary School. He read some of his favorite poetry, including work by Shel Silverstein to Ms. Magan's second graders. Knowing Regent Tilles' love of poetry, the class gave him a book of poems.
