The Freeport School District would like to welcome Dr. Kenneth Rodgers as the new Assistant Superintendent for Business. With more than 30 years of business experience, he joins the district from Uniondale Public Schools, where he served as the Assistant Superintendent for Business Affairs for approximately five years. As an experienced leader in public schools and the educational services sector, Dr. Rodgers brings a proven record of accomplishment in the development of strategic planning, operations and budgetary planning and control functions.
Dr. Rodgers received his Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Alabama and his Master in Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and his Professional Diploma from the College of New Rochelle. Dr. Rodgers was appointed at the October 6th meeting of the Freeport Board of Education.
