We have received sad news regarding the loss of two former School Board
Members, Ed Monroe and Dr. Al Renken.
Ed Monroe
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ed Monroe, former School Board Member for the term1977-1980. Mr. Monroe is survived by his wife, Betty Monroe, who is also a former School Board Member who served from 1983-1995.

Dr. Al Renken
Dr. Renken's daughter has informed us that her dad passed away at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Dr. Renken served on the School Board for six years from 1995-2001.
He was a very active Freeport community member.
Arrangements are as follows:

Friday, June 1st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Mass at Our Holy Redeemer
Saturday, June 2nd, 9:30 a.m.
Interment at St. Charles Cemetery
Flags in the District will be flown at half-staff on Thursday, May 31st and Friday, June 1st in honor Dr. Al Renken and Ed Monroe, former School Board Members who passed away this week
