Freeport Village police officer and Board of Education Trustee Michael Pomerico was recently recognized during the Republican Club's 44th annual installation reception.
Mr. Pomerico, a longtime advocate of Freeport Village, was chosen for this distinct honor because of his untiring efforts on behalf of the children of Freeport. He has been instrumental in enriching both the educational and recreational opportunities available in Freeport, and has played a significant role in improving the lives of all Freeport children.
