On Saturday, September 29th, the district has arranged for an organization known as Heart Screen New York to screen children age 12 and up for early detection of risk factors and conditions associated with sudden cardiac arrest in young people.
The screening is completely optional and it is free. It will be conducted by volunteer cardiologists and technicians at Freeport High School on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
