Freeport school administration continued their ongoing relationship with The United Way of Long Island and JP Morgan Chase Bank in coordinating a program that distributed 200 backpacks laden with school supplies to students at Atkinson Intermediate School. "It is a wonderful benefit to our students and families," said Freeport superintendent of schools Dr. Kishore Kuncham. "We are continuing to nurture our partnership with JPMorgan Chase and The United Way, and we are very grateful to them."
Dr. Kuncham was joined by school administrators and school board members, and representatives from The United Way and JP Morgan Chase Bank to help distribute the backpacks that will help to insure that students have the tools they need for a successful school year.
