Students at Archer Street School welcomed special guest Nassau BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Thomas L. Rogers into their classrooms to share the work they are doing as part of the Common Core State Learning Standards. Archer Street Principal Mrs. Paula Lein escorted Dr. Rogers as he visited the kindergarten through fourth-grade classrooms including the dual-language classrooms, Science Exploratorium, Centennial Museum and Parent Center. Throughout his visit, the students were eager to demonstrate the work they were doing and were very proud of all they have accomplished.
