The Freeport School District is proud to announce that two Freeport High School students Jessica Ramos and Lee Stetson have been named by the Siemens Foundation as Semifinalists in the prestigious Siemens Math, Science & Technology competition.
This highly competitive program recognizes the nation's brightest high school research students who have successfully demonstrated their ability to conduct advanced higher-level science research while still in high school. Jessica and Lee's research project was titled the Determination of the Effective Diameter & Albedo of Asteroid 2010 FF7 from WISE Data. Congratulations to both Jessica and Lee.
