We are pleased to announce that the Board of Education has appointed Ms. Johane Ligondé as principal of the John W. Dodd Middle School effective July 15, 2013.
Ms. Ligondé comes to Freeport with K - 12 administrative experience including service as a curriculum director and as principal. She completed her Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Teachers' College of Columbia University where she currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Principal's Academy. Ms. Ligondé has a strong background in teacher training and in literacy education. The Board of Education and administration congratulate her on her appointment. She is very excited to be joining the Freeport family and is looking forward to working with the children and staff at Dodd.
