Hurricane Sandy did not stop Ms. Lack's Kindergarten from voting in their Kindergarten 2012 Election. Students learned new vocabulary such as election, campaign, ballot, and candidate. The children based their vote on the interests of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Students were happy to learn that Barack Obama has a dog named Bo, while Mitt Romney enjoys horses. Students cast their vote anonymously in our voting booth. The results matched those of our country with Barack Obama as our new president!
