Posted on 11/22/2014

Students and faculty eagerly attended the high school's first science seminar of the year after school on Nov. 24.

Dr. Lisa Miller, associate division director for spectroscopy and imaging in the Photon Sciences Directorate at Brookhaven National Laboratory, conducted the seminar in the high school's Distance Learning Center, which was filled to capacity. Dr. Miller provided information on her academic and professional background, and delivered a lecture on Alzheimer's Disease. Attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the seminar.
