Annual District-Wide Peace Concert & Art Exhibit
Posted on 09/28/2015

Two very special district-wide events are being held on Thursday, October 1st at Freeport High School at 7PM. First, it is the occasion of our annual Peace Concert and Art Exhibit at which each of our eight schools will have students performing in observance of"International Day of Peace" and"International Non-Violence Day" which is celebrated on Mahatma Gandhi's Birthday. In addition, this will also be the occasion of the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the newly refurbished Freeport Performing Arts Center, formerly known as the Freeport High School Auditorium. We have implemented major renovations over the summer including: new flooring/carpeting, new seating and lighting, an upgraded sound system, acoustical improvements, a new stage curtain and renovation of the stage.

We hope to see you on Thursday, October 1st, 7 PM. Come early - we expect a packed house.
