FHS Seniors Learn About Choices and Consequences
Posted on 03/17/2016

Seniors at the high school participated in a "Choices and Consequences" assembly designed to teach students about the risks associated with drunken, drugged and reckless driving.

The program, which is a 90-minute interactive presentation, is based on a "reality TV" model depicting real-life cases and evidence of harmful choices people have made. It was divided into three separate segments - background information, skit, and defendant/victim speakers.

All high school seniors planning to attend their senior prom were required to participate in this program. This informative and thought-provoking assembly emphasized safety and planning in preparation for a fun high school tradition, and taught students a valuable life-saving lesson.
