The high school marching band showcased its remarkable talents on a variety of stages in October, spreading awareness for worthy causes in the process. Under the direction of Mike LaSorsa and assistant director Adam Rubin, of Dodd, the group performed at the Epilepsy Walk at Eisenhower Park on Oct. 17, the Lupus Walk at Eisenhower Park on Oct. 18, the Freeport Fall Festival on the Nautical Mile also on Oct. 18, and at the Newsday Marching Band Festival on Oct. 19. The marching band exhibited masterful precision and stellar synchronization as a testament to their hard work in preparation for their performances.
