Current juniors are encouraged to apply to the Simons Summer Research Program at Stony Brook University. Established in 1984, this nationally recognized research program was created for motivated, academically talented high school students. Students interested in science who have demonstrated independence, creativity and an aptitude for hands-on work are especially encouraged to apply. The application is competitive and a district can only nominate a maximum of three students. Interested students should see Dr. Pereira in Room 143.
