Thirty students from the the high school Student Government and the Cooking Club prepared more than 150 meals comprised of meatballs, whole grain pasta and vegetables for Coloki Inc., the Freeport Trailer. Students from both clubs volunteered their time during the weekend in order to help those in need. Student government has been cooking for Coloki for five years, and this year welcomed the addition of the Cooking Club.
The effort was the latest display of altruism that is commonplace throughout the district.
