Several students on the high school's varsity wrestling team performed outstandingly and placed at the Nassau County Wrestling Championships held at Hofstra University.
Chad Elder, Ikce Quiles and Dashaun Thomas all earned fourth place while teammates Frankie Paulino placed fifth and Lee Mauras came in at sixth place. The district extends its congratulations to these student-athletes for their continued commitment to success both in the classroom and on the mat.
