As part of its slate of after-school activities, the Bilingual Club at Dodd recently discussed the novel, "Dancing Home" by Alma Flor Ada.
Students were provided with free copies of the novel - in their choice of English or Spanish - and participated in spirited and analytical discussions about it following their completion of the book. They discussed family, immigration and a variety of other prominent themes in the novel. As a follow-up activity, they will be reading, "Becoming Naomi León" by Pam Muńoz Ryan.
