The district earned the distinction of hosting the statewide Future Problem Solving competition at Freeport High School. With schools across New York competing, the high school earned first- and second-place in the middle and senior divisions, and Dodd placed third overall in its first competition.
The two top teams will be attending the national conference in Wisconsin in June.
