As a supplement to their lessons about DNA, students at Dodd participated in the Google Expeditions Pioneer Program during their science classes.
The program provided students with the opportunity to experience elements of augmented reality - the integration of digital information with the user's environment in 'real time' - using smartphones provided by a representative of Google for the lesson. Working in pairs, students were able to view and study images such as molecules that appeared all over the classroom through the smartphones.
