Third-graders at Bayview learned about fire safety during the 12th annual Hooked on Firefighters event.
As part of the program, local firefighters visited various classrooms to speak to students about ways to prevent a fire and proper procedures in the event of a fire. Students then participated in a simulated smokehouse and fire truck demonstration to complement their lessons.
