The John W. Dodd Middle School Drama Club presents the musical, Disney's "Aladdin Jr" in the Performing Arts Center at Freeport High School on Thursday, February 1st at 7pm.
This version is based on the iconic animated film and features an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, with such memorable songs as "Never Had a Friend Like Me", "A Whole New World" and more!
Directed, produced and choreographed by the Dodd General Music staff of Vashti Burke and Sarafina Deluca-Padilla. The talented students will showcase techniques mastering the unique rhythm and cadence of the show.
Set in Agrabah, the audience will be sent soaring on magic carpet rides with romance and adventure through the life of a street urchin Aladdin who uses a genie's magic power to become a prince and marry the beautiful Princess Jasmine.
