As part of its annual Turkey Trot fundraiser, students and staff members at Archer Street raised $2,500 for the WE Charity. The $2,500 raised during the Trot was then matched by a donor, and added to the $2,075 the school raised during its "Every Drop of Water Counts-Archer Cares" bracelet-selling campaign earlier this year, which was also matched. The grand total of $9,150 will be used to help build a well in Kenya, Africa.
The Turkey Trot was a festive precursor to Thanksgiving that also highlighted the remarkable fundraising efforts at Archer.
