As part of an ongoing partnership with Adelphi University, district students continued complementing their STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) classroom lessons at Bayview/Giblyn STEM Night.
The event, held at Bayview, was designed for students and their parents to have the opportunity to participate in interactive lessons conducted by Adelphi students. In classrooms throughout the school, students participated in several hands-on workshops based on a variety of topics, such as atoms and energy. Each workshop included an informative introduction using a Smart Board presentation.
Bayview/Giblyn STEM Night was an academically stimulating event that reinforced the district's commitment to providing a sound STEM education.
