Bayview Avenue School students of the PeaceJam Juniors Enrichment program received certificates of recognition from Town of Hempstead Councilwoman Erin King Sweeney for their efforts in the "Valentines for Veterans" program. For the program, students crafted a valentine card and wrote a message expressing their appreciation for the sacrifices made by the men and women who have served the country.
