Members of the district joined together at Freeport High School to participate in the district's fun-filled Parent University event. Students, their families and representatives from each school building experienced the event, which hosted several exciting activities for students and educational programs for parents. Students also provided musical performances for district families as they entered the building.
Throughout the school, several stations were set up for students and parents, including Combating Substance Abuse in Our Homes, Ending Bullying, #Freeportreads Student Workshop, Healthy Nutrition, iTutor for Grades 7-12, Mental Health: Knowing the Signs and Pre-K-2 Helping our Children Read.
