It was a sea of white at Dodd Middle School, as students wore white T-shirts sporting the names of colleges and universities for the school's Early College Awareness Day.
Representatives from colleges and universities included SUNY Geneseo, Adelphi University, New York Institute of Technology, Hofstra University, St. John's University, Stony Brook University and more. Each speaker was stationed throughout the school to meet with students and discuss early college preparations. Topics included the benefits of going to college, the positive approach to take when becoming a college student, and the significance of networking and developing friendships.
