Students of Mr. Anthony Aniano's and Ms. Kristina Ridini's seventh grade math class at J.W. Dodd Middle School began sharpening their technological skills by utilizing and exploring their new personal Chromebooks. The Chromebooks were given out to seventh grade students in early September as part of the third and final phase of the district's Smart Schools Bond Act.
The math students are now logged into and are using the Glencoe Math Workbook Series online. With this, they were taught how to open the application, find a specific page, enlarge or reduce the text, and more. Students were assigned homework from the online textbook in an effort to help them practice using these new skills. Each student was also given a stylus and was shown how to complete and save their work directly on the Chromebook.
