Bayview Avenue School hosted its annual Career Awareness Expo, where students in grades K-4 received a special visit from professionals who spoke on the vast career paths students can pursue as they continue their education.

More than 25 presenters visited each class and discussed their current occupations. They shared their personal career experiences, along with the educational and training requirements needed to pursue the field.

Students heard from family nurse practitioner Meghan Billia, NYPD officer Celena Harris, IT project manager Elizabeth Nunez, author Lisa Raye, marital artist Ted Kimlingen and more.

Students were engaged throughout each presentation and were encouraged to ask questions on the various career options.
